This short video was shot by me at the beginning of spring in Kharkiv. The hero of this video is the playwright Oleg Mykhaylov. He was born and lived all his life in Russia, came to Kharkiv a few years before the start of the 2014 war, fell in love with the city and stayed there. He still does not speak Ukrainian very well, but he has been writing plays in the language of his new homeland for a long time. One of his last works is a play for a puppet theater about the war. It is intended for children 5-7 years old. Although, unfortunately, even without plays, our children already know perfectly well what war is. Nevertheless, it is an important video that captures the true feelings of a man who is experiencing the bombing and shelling of a city that has become his home.
